Superfreak is a funky, walk-in friendly, all-day eatery with freakishly good food.
The Inner West hangout spot is co-owned by Michael Ico and Daniel Harrison, whose personal vinyl collection spins daily on table-side record players.
Located on the iconic Enmore Road, the venue blends homey vibes with a touch of alternative decor, designed by YSG Studio—the masterminds behind Four Pillars Laboratory and Edition Coffee Roasters Darling Square fit-outs.
A wholesome, nourishing menu headed by Aplenty’s Michaela Johansson dolls up breakfast classics with dishes like bread and butter pudding; oat, rye and buckwheat porridge with cultured butter, brown sugar and poached fruit; and thickly-sliced Ciao Fabbrica sourdough smothered in creamy ricotta, topped with spiced nuts and pear.
The drinks lineup features coffee and matcha fixes, healthy smoothies and juices, an adaptogen hot choccy with medicinal mushrooms and a house-made hibiscus ice tea.
Lunch offers hefty ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches stuffed with Emilio’s Butchery ham, pork and fennel meatballs, or fresh veggies, plus a mix-and-match salad bar with a bunch of add-ons.
For something sweet, there's a cabinet full of goodies like almond olive oil sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, a choc-chip pretzel cookie, a lemon crumble slice, and vegan-friendly chocolate beetroot cake.
