The Ladies League

The Ladies League is Australia’s first bar dedicated to women’s sport. The two-level Darlinghurst sports bar has a huge screen upstairs for those who need to be immersed in the on-field action, while downstairs has enough TVs for every seat to be a good one to catch the sporting action.

While priority is given to women’s sports at national and international levels (including re-screenings of games played in off-peak windows) The Ladies League was devised to not only put the spotlight on women’s sports, but also provide a safe and welcoming space for all sports fans to catch major games. Its location, at the junction of Paddington, Surry Hills and Darlinghurst establishes it as a true meeting of Sydney’s queer and sporting communities.

The menu offers something for everyone too, with snacks and starters like cheese and charcuterie boards, dumplings and arancini. More substantial plates include grilled skewers served with salad, pub-style plates like ribs or steak, and a range of burgers and sandos, with the entire menu available while the bar’s open, including until late.

The Ladies League has a range of cocktails plus wines and beers, including brews from Australia's largest woman-owned and operated brewery, Reckless Brewing Co.
