Totti’s first opened its doors on Bondi Road back in 2018 and now, it’s making its first foray into the Inner West—huge news.
Yep, Merivale is finally taking the foodie smarts of executive chef Mike Eggert outside the Eastern Suburbs and into Rozelle’s 3 Weeds Pub. The hospitality juggernaut took over the iconic Evans Street institution just two years ago and now its restaurant will plate up a heap of Totti’s favourites including Eggert’s now-iconic wood-fired bread, antipasti (yes, the classic mortadella and burrata make their cameo), and handmade pastas.
Along with this, Rozelle's main sharing dishes will look familiar to any Totti’s fanatics out there, with wood-roasted fish fillets and whole wood-roasted fish on the menu too, both having taken a hot hit in the famous Josper charcoal oven.
Merivale’s 3 Weed’s has been a lively local which has served Rozelle fried chicken burgers and cheese jaffles for some 130 years. The heritage-listed pub has been going strong since 1884 and since then, it’s been a buzzing hive for grand final days, live music and not to mention, the front bar ticks the dog-friendly box.
While the new Totti’s restaurant will feature all the staples, Totti’s Rozelle will also keep a dedicated dessert bar churning out traditional gelati, sundaes, and other Italian treats like tiramisu, chocolate torte, pannacotta, and pistachio cake.
