URBAN LIST’S Royal Caribbean Cruises Instagram Competition

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions.  Participation in RCL Cruises (ABN 54 150 263 086) promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
    

2. The Promotion is conducted by Urban List Pty Ltd ACN 142 505 897 as trustee for The Urban List Trust (ABN 56 349 266 482) (“Promoter”).

Eligibility
 

3. The Promotion is open to all NSW, QLD, WA, VIC residents aged 18 and over who enter in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Entrants into this Competition must be 18 years of age as at the date of entry in order to be eligible to

4. enter the Competition.
    

5. Employees (and their immediate family and/or those living in the same household) of the Promoter, and its related entities, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and suppliers associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

How to Enter

5. The Promotion period commences at 12:00pm on Wednesday 5th November 2025 and ends at 11:59am on Thursday the 20th November 2025. (“Promotional Period”). 

6. To enter, individuals must comment on the Promoter’s Instagram post, and be following @royalcaribbeanaunz and either @urbanlistbne/@urbanlistsyd. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or otherwise associated with Instagram.
    

7. There is no cost to enter the Promotion.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entries which contravene these Terms and Conditions, including any incomplete or indecipherable entries.
   
   Determining and Notifying the Winner(s)
    

9. Selection of the winner(s) will take place at the Sydney office of the Promoter, 8 Hill Street, Surry Hills, NSW, 2010 at 2:00pm AEST on Friday the 21st of November 2025.

10. This Promotion will run as a game of chance. All eligible entries shall be placed into the draw, with the winner(s) chosen by an online random number generator. 

11. The Promoter’s determination of the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. The winner will be notified via Instagram, by Monday the 24th November 2025. The winner must acknowledge acceptance of and claim their Prize by replying to fjohnson@theurbanlist.com with details requested. This must be received by the Promoter no later than Friday the 5th of December 2025.

13. If for any reason a winner does not acknowledge, accept and claim their Prize by 1:59pm on Friday the 5th of December 2025., that Prize will be forfeited, and another winner selected at 2pm AEST on Friday the 5th of December 2025.
     

14. The Promoter will have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
    
    The Prize
     

15. The winner of the Prize will receive:

• 1 (one) x 2-4 night short getaway on a Royal Caribbean Cruise for up to 4 (four) guests, valued at up to $3,687 AUD and awarded as a voucher. Voucher will be valid until 11 April 2026, to be redeemed on eligible sailings.

15. Prize terms and conditions: 

1. All Prize redemptions are also subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their companions (if any) must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements (as applicable).

2. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices as at 10 September 2025. The Prize Provider accepts no responsibility for change in Prize value between now and the ultimate Prize redemption date.

3. There is a total of one (1) prize winner. This Prize includes a 2–4-night short getaway on a Royal Caribbean cruise for up to (4) guests (including at least one person aged 18 or over) in a Balcony quad stateroom category 3D or equivalent, departing from Brisbane or Sydney during the 2025-2026 summer season. Christmas, New Years and Transpacific sailings are excluded. The Prize is subject to availability on the selected date.

4. Total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $3,687.00 based on a Spacious Ocean View Balcony quad stateroom on Voyager of the Seas’ 5 Feb 2026 4-night Airlie Beach Getaway, published price as at 10 September 2025. All prices stated are in Australian dollars, represent the recommended retail price (RRP), include GST and are to the best knowledge, information and belief of the Promoter correct at time of printing.

5. The cruise Prize is valid for four (4) guests, with at least one (1) guest 18 years of age or older. During the entire duration of a cruise Prize, a nominated parent / guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. All four guests must travel together. Any additional passengers are subject to the prevailing standard fare for the selected cruise date at the time of making the booking.

6. The prize will be in the form of a Cruise Certificate,  valid until 11 April 2026 to be redeemed on one (1) of the eligible sailings.

7. Each prize value is based on the quad Balcony Stateroom grade cabin or equivalent and any upgrades are unavailable. Prizes are not transferrable to any other ship, cruise or date than those specified during the 2025/26 summer season.

8. The prize includes:

   • Complimentary onboard experiences and activities which may include (subject to availability, age, height and weight restrictions and terms & conditions) FlowRider® surf simulator, RipCord® by iFLY® (complimentary when at port and on Anthem only), North Star® (complimentary when at port and on Anthem only), SeaPlex® including bumper cars and roller-skating (Anthem only), rock-climbing wall, sports court, adults-only solarium, fitness centre, poolside movies, The Perfect Storm® waterslide duo, Ice-skating (Voyager only), Theatre entertainment, award-winning Adventure Ocean® Youth Programme (kids club); and Complimentary food and beverage venues (breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks, a la carte dining, pizza and soft serve ice cream). Venues may include Windjammer Café, Sorrento’s Pizza (Anthem only), SeaPlex® Dog House (Anthem only), Main Dining Room, Café@Two70 (Anthem only), Café Promenade. 9. Prizes cannot be exchanged for goods or cash, nor can they be sold or otherwise transferred to any person. 

10. The winner is solely responsible for any and all travel expenses that fall outside the $3,687 AUD total prize value for the cruise, including: any other flights, travel or onboard costs/expenditure, pre or post cruise accommodation, spending money, meals (other than those specified), drinks (other than those specified), mini-bar, incidentals, laundry, room service, phone calls, gratuities, optional activities and excursions, freight, excess baggage, ground transport, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, service charges, passports, visas, travel insurance, and all transfers, including travel costs to and from their closest capital city airport if the winner is from a regional area. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion are fit to travel and have received appropriate immunisations, insurance, and/or health checks prior to taking the prize.

11. It is the Winner’s and their travelling companion’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destinations. Any fines, penalties, payments of expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller.

12. Where relevant, it is the Winner’s and their travel companion’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel and health documentation. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companions. The Promoter and the Prize Provider makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.

13. All Prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. The Promoters and carrier make no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. By entering this Competition, and by collecting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges and accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses.

14. The Promoter/Prize Provider strongly recommends that all Winners take out travel insurance and consult the www.smarttraveller.gov.au website prior to travelling.

15. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the Prize.

16. The winner is solely responsible for determining who to share the Prize with. 

17. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy alcohol responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/health-advice/alcohol and at DrinkWise at http://drinkwise.org.au/

18. Participation in the Prize experience is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. However, if a winner has physical limitations or requires a carer, the Promoter must be notified, and any carers must accompany the participant. Winner(s) agree to sign any waiver reasonably required by the Promoter or the Client.

19. All Entrants agree that if they Win the Prize, they will not, and their companions will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and / or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the Prize Provider.

20. In the event that a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable (for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal or greater recommended retail value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from the various lottery departments.

General

16. The Promoter will inform RCL Cruises (ABN 54 150 263 086)  of entrants’ details who select ‘yes’ to the question on the entry form - ‘I agree to receive information from Client’. For clarity, if an entrant selects ‘yes’, the entrant will be subscribed to the Client for online marketing and promotional communications. Entrants consent to their name and email address being used for this purpose.
     

17. Without limiting the above, the winner(s) agree to participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) in connection with the Promotion and/ or the winning of the Prize (as reasonably requested by Client), free of charge, and agree to sign any additional documents reasonably required by the Promoter and Client to give effect to this condition. Subject to law, the winner(s) must consent to using their names, likeness, images and/or voices (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the Promotion (including any outcome) or undertaking the Prize.

18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence).
     

19. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

20. If a winner of the Prize is under the age of 18 years, the Prize will be forfeited by that entrant, and a redraw will occur.

21. In the event of war, terrorism, pandemic or epidemic, state of emergency, government restrictions or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or suspend or modify a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion without notice.

22. As a condition of entering the Promotion, each entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry (for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.

23. As a condition of accepting the Prize, each winner must sign any legal documentation in the form required by the Promoter, and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

24. Entrants agree to have their email address added to the Promoter’s email list.

25. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all claims, liability, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) suffered or incurred by any person; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or acceptance of or use of any prize.

26. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use this information, and disclose this information to third parties, including but not limited to Client (ABN) for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. 27. All entries become the property of the Promoter. 

28. The Promoter accepts no liability for any problems or technical malfunction of computer systems, servers, software, internet service provider or email systems, including failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems, or the failure of a winner to receive a notification due to such technical problems.

29. This Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
