What Is Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Historically, Black Friday takes place on the Friday right after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. In most cases, that means it's the last Friday of the month. Cyber Monday takes place on the first Monday after Black Friday. While initially separate shopping events, most brands and retailers treat that Friday to Monday period as the Cyber Weekend sale.
When Is Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024?
Black Friday 2024 officially starts on Friday, 29 November, although that hasn't stopped a lot of retailers from launching their deals well in advance. The sale event will roll into Cyber Monday 2024, which takes place on 2 December.
