Ah, we love the Emmys. The glitz, the glamour, and the low-key smugness when we realise the winners are already on our Urban List what-to-watch-on-TV lists… (lol).

This year’s Emmy headlines include the youngest-ever winner for best supporting actor in a limited series (Owen Cooper of Adolescence), the first Black man to win best supporting actor in a drama (Tramell Tillman for Severance), and a heap of Emmys (13 to be exact) for Seth Rogen’s Hollywood satirical comedy-drama, The Studio.

If you missed the actual awards—no dramas. Here’s a round-up of the major winners, along with where you can stream them right now in Australia.

'Best Of' Emmy Winners

Best Drama Series: The Pitt

This gritty medical drama follows ER staff over a 15-hour work shift. Each episode covers one hour of the shift, exploring themes like staff shortages, underfunding, and the psychological challenges of healthcare in a post-pandemic world.

You can stream The Pitt now on HBO Max, along with runners-up The Last of Us and The White Lotus.

Best Comedy Series: The Studio
The Studio, Apple TV

With a stonking cast including Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Bryan Cranston, this Hollywood satire was always going to make our list of
best shows on Apple TV. The story follows a newly appointed movie studio head (played by Rogen) as he deals with the ridiculous challenges of creating art while making money in Hollywood.

You can stream The Studio now on Apple TV, along with runner-up Shrinking.

Best Limited Anthology Series - Adolescence

This psychological crime drama, starring newcomer Owen Cooper, took the world by storm in March 2025. It also made our list of best crime shows on Netflix. The story follows an investigation into the brutal murder of a 13-year-old girl, tackling issues like the rise of misogyny in online culture and the damaging influence of social media on teenagers. Each episode was also shot in one continuous take, making Cooper’s performance (along with the rest of the cast) even more impressive.

You can stream Adolescence on Netflix now, along with runners-up Black Mirror and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
