Laufey Has Announced A Massive 2026 Australia And New Zealand Tour

Two years after she turned Australian concert halls into candle-lit confessionals, Laufey is coming back with bigger rooms, bigger strings, and the same devastating ability to make 10,000 people feel like they’re slow-dancing alone in their bedroom with a Martini.

The Icelandic-Chinese singer, who nabbed Grammys for Bewitched and again for her latest record, is bringing the A Matter Of Time Tour to Australia and New Zealand this July and August. If her 2024 visit was a polite jazz knock at the door, this one is a full orchestral entrance.

Kicking off at RAC Arena on Saturday 25 July, the tour winds through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney before closing at Spark Arena on Wednesday 12 August. All shows are licensed all ages, so, bring your situationship and your little sister.

Who Is Laufey And Why Is She A Big Deal?

Laufey’s 2024 Australian run sold out in minutes, including a night at the Sydney Opera House that proved jazz has been handed a new generation and told to run with it. Since then, she’s collected a second Grammy for A Matter Of Time, clocked up over 4.25 billion streams, and quietly built one of the most devoted fanbases in modern pop. Oh, and she’s only 26, if you want to feel like you’re deeply underachieving.

Her music lives in the space between smoky jazz standards and diary-page pop. 2022’s Everything I Know About Love traced the ache of leaving home. Bewitched spiralled into young love and earned her a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Now, A Matter Of Time leans into the messier corners of “real love” the kind that makes you brave one minute and spiralling the next.

If you streamed her debut at Coachella, where she joined the LA Philharmonic for a surprise set, you’ll know she doesn’t do small. She’s since sold out the Hollywood Bowl, Radio City Music Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and shared stages with everyone from Jon Batiste to RAYE.
