Facts: we absolutely love a new beauty and wellness product drop. From serums and sunscreens to new ways to get a sun-safe tan, we’ve tried and tested this month's biggest releases—and we’re pumped to share them with you.

Not sure what to add to your cart? Never fear, here are the best new beauty products to shop right now.

Face Gym

Price: $45-$181

With a celebrity following that includes Jessica Biel and Maghan Markle, FaceGym is a beauty brand with a difference—and it’s finally available in Australia thanks to an exclusive partnership with MECCA. Don’t worry, it doesn’t require you to get sweaty, but it does involve facial fitness, high performance skincare and tools for a total face workout—think serums so powerful they’re like a personal trainer in a bottle, a weighted face ball that will help drain all the tension from your face muscles and a dozen other products that will sculpt, lift, tone and brighten your skin. Sydney residents can even book in for facial services at the George Street stores FaceGym Studio, one of only five worldwide. Are face workouts the answer to all our skincare prayers? We’re about to find out.

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum

Price: $39.50

You asked and now The Ordinary has delivered, with a brand new serum that specifically targets the signs of ageing around the eye. This water-based formula contains peptide technologies that fight wrinkles, puffiness AND dark circles. The Ordinary’s clinical testing showed an improvement in crow’s feet and under-eye wrinkles after just eight weeks, and frankly, that’s enough to have us stocking up.

The Kind Collective Prep And Protect Mist

Price: $18.95

We love a beauty product that we can throw in our handbag and use at our desk, which makes this face mist a must have for 2023. A hydrating mist that can be used to give your skin a boost pre-make up, you can also use it throughout the day for a quick refresh. Bonus, it also contains anti-blue light ingredients to help protect your skin against the harsh HEV light coming from your screens. The triple threat can be found here.

Ohh My Glow Fake Tan Setting Spray

Price: $19.95

Praise be, Ohh My Glo has solved a problem we’ve long despaired of. After years of running her own tanning business, Tan By Zoe, Zoe Klein had had enough of sticky fake tans that ruined clothing, sheets and toilet seats, so she created a setting spray that turns any fake tan matte dry instantly—hallelujah. It will even stop you from sweating while the tan develops (a godsend for summer), without affecting the end result of the tan. And it has a delicious watermelon scent? Perfect tan, here we come.

Revlon ColourStay Suede Ink Lipstick

Price: $17.99

Hunting for a lipstick that you won’t have to reapply half a dozen times over the course of a day (or night)? We’ve found one—Revlon has created a long-lasting velvet matte lipstick with an incredible eight hours of wear time. How? It’s got a built in primer, giving you a solid, opaque lip colour with no transfer that is uber comfortable to wear. Sold. The ColourStay Suede Ink Lipsticks come in a heap of shades and you can get them here.

Coco & Eve’s Antioxidant Face Tanning Micromist

Price: $44.90

You’ve probably already got a favourite fake tan for your summer bod, but what about your face? Coco & Eve’s new Antioxidant Face Tanning Micromist is designed specifically for your face, featuring antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and fruit extracts to hydrate and plump your skin as it develops in just six hours. It’s the perfect addition to your tanning routine—or just on its own.

The Secret Base Range

Price: $95

You’ve no doubt heard of The Secret’s prescription skincare, which has developed a cult-following for its personalised products tailored to specific skin concerns. Well, for those who aren’t ready to commit to skincare by subscription, the beauty brand has just launched Base Range, a curated collection of non-prescription skincare essentials. The first products in the range to drop are a restorative Face Oil and a hydrating Serum, which we have no doubt you’ll love so much you’ll be taking the skin quiz to get your beauty prescription in no time.

Skinstitut Power Serums

Price: $64-$69

After 14 years of helping people achieve stunning skin, Skinstitut has just unveiled a fresh new look, and to go with it they’ve dropped three new Power Serums. With each one featuring different key actives, you can customise your skincare routine depending on whether you’re after deep hydration and plumping with the 1% Hyaluronic Complex Serum, the minimization of pigmentation and dark spots with the 10% Vitamin C Super Serum or easing the signs of ageing and acne with the 10% Niacinamide Power Serum. We’ll just take all three, thanks.

The Lip Lab Cocktail-Inspired Lipsticks

Price: $45

Ever looked at a spicy margarita and thought “this would make a dreamy lipstick colour”? Well, The Lip Lab has, and they’ve gone and made it happen, teaming up with Cantails, Dan Murphy’s and BWS’ new premium cocktails in a can, to create three limited edition lipsticks inspired by the flavours in the range. Not only are the colours inspired by the flavours of Appletini, Spicy Margarita and Espresso Martini, but they taste like them too. You can find them on The Lip Lab.
