By

If a trip to Hobart has been high on your bucket list, we've got the perfect boozy excuse for you to finally book that ticket—the Urban Wine Walk. Going down in Hobart on Saturday 14 August, there's no better way to explore the bar scene than with this self-guided wine crawl in which nine of Hobart's best bars will be playing host to nine exceptional Tasmanian winemakers as they bring their cellar doors to the city.

You’ll kick off the afternoon with a snack to line your stomach at your chosen starting location just to pique your taste buds before you begin your journey through up to nine different bars and 27 tastings.

The best thing about the Urban Wine Walk is that it’s self-guided so you can take your time, pick and choose where you’d like to stop and sip, or get some extra food—the world’s your oyster. Take a look at the venues and wineries participating and you'll be sure to get excited.

Well, fear not because tickets start at just $75—an absolute steal for all the goods you’ll be treated to. The package includes a $10 food voucher to use at your chosen starting location, 27 tastings and a $25 voucher to use on any wine you order on the day.

The wine walk will be underway on Saturday 14 August from 12pm–4pm, so save the date and book your flights. The event is guaranteed to be a sell out and tickets are already available, so our advice would be to book right away.
