Oran Park has officially checked into a new era. The suburb’s first hotel, Atura Oran Park, opened on Friday 30 October, bringing 184 rooms, a heated outdoor pool and Italian-inspired restaurant Tavola to Sydney’s south west.

Built on the former Oran Park Raceway site, the hotel wears its motorsport history proudly. Think racetrack-inspired carpets, archival racing photography and a Holden Torana A9X reimagined as a cube. There’s plenty here for an overnight stay, but the restaurant, bar and public spaces give locals a reason to drop in, too.

What Exactly Is Atura Oran Park?

Atura Oran Park is the result of a partnership between the Perich family and EVT Hotels & Resorts, landing on the site of the former Oran Park Raceway. It's the fifth Atura property in Australia, joining existing hotels in Blacktown, Albury, Dandenong and Adelaide Airport, and marks the brand's first foray into Sydney's booming south west.

The hotel sits in the centre of Oran Park Town, one of the largest master planned communities in the country, and just 20 minutes from Western Sydney International Airport. With the new airport set to welcome millions of passengers a year once it opens, Atura Oran Park is positioning itself as a natural base for travellers moving in and out of the region.

What Can Guests Expect From The Hotel?

The 184 rooms and suites cater to quick overnight visits, family getaways and longer stays, with king and twin rooms, accessible accommodation and interconnecting options.

Select rooms have private balconies and pool views, while suites come with separate bedrooms and lounge areas, kitchenettes and washing machines—handy if you’re settling in for more than a weekend.

Across all room categories, expect Chromecast-enabled smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces, Mr Smith bathroom amenities, minibars and 24-hour room service. Racing-inspired cushions, wallpaper and photography carry the hotel’s local references upstairs.

Outside, the heated resort-style pool and terrace are open year-round, with a dedicated poolside menu for light bites and drinks.

Why It's A Game-Changer For Oran Park

Oran Park is one of Sydney's fastest-growing suburbs, with the town forecast to grow to more than 50,000 residents over the coming decades. Until now, the area hasn't had a hotel of its own, despite the scale of development happening around it.

The timing lines up with the broader transformation underway across Western Sydney, as Western Sydney International Airport prepares to open and reshape how people travel in and out of the region. A hotel like this signals that Oran Park is shifting from a purely residential growth corridor into a fully-fledged town centre, with the infrastructure to support both locals and visitors.

When Can You Stay?

Atura Oran Park is now open, having welcomed its first guests on Friday 30 October 2026.
