Oran Park is about to get its first ever hotel, and it's landing right in the middle of one of Sydney's fastest-growing suburbs. A 184-room hotel is set to open in the heart of the town this October, just 20 minutes from the new Western Sydney International Airport.

What Exactly Is Atura Oran Park?

Atura Oran Park is the result of a partnership between the Perich family and EVT Hotels & Resorts, landing on the site of the former Oran Park Raceway. It's the fifth Atura property in Australia, joining existing hotels in Blacktown, Albury, Dandenong and Adelaide Airport, and marks the brand's first foray into Sydney's booming south west.

The hotel sits in the centre of Oran Park Town, one of the largest master planned communities in the country, and just 20 minutes from Western Sydney International Airport. With the new airport set to welcome millions of passengers a year once it opens, Atura Oran Park is positioning itself as a natural base for travellers moving in and out of the region.

What Can Guests Expect From The Hotel?

The 184 guest rooms and suites are designed with both overnight stays and longer stints in mind, catering to everyone from weekend visitors to extended-stay guests. An Italian-inspired restaurant and bar anchors the social side of the hotel, built for everything from casual coffees to celebration dinners.

Outside, a resort-style pool and terrace gives guests somewhere to unwind, while generous communal areas and flexible conference and event spaces mean the hotel can flex between work trips, weekend getaways and everything in between. The design draws on Oran Park's motorsport history and the Perich family's local heritage, aiming to give the hotel a genuine sense of place rather than a generic airport stopover.

Why It's A Game-Changer For Oran Park

Oran Park is one of Sydney's fastest-growing suburbs, with the town forecast to grow to more than 50,000 residents over the coming decades. Until now, the area hasn't had a hotel of its own, despite the scale of development happening around it.

The timing lines up with the broader transformation underway across Western Sydney, as Western Sydney International Airport prepares to open and reshape how people travel in and out of the region. A hotel like this signals that Oran Park is shifting from a purely residential growth corridor into a fully-fledged town centre, with the infrastructure to support both locals and visitors.

When Can You Stay?

Atura Oran Park is set to open in October 2026, giving Western Sydney locals a new spot for staycations, events and celebrations, and giving travellers heading to and from the new airport a place to land close by.

From weekend staycations without leaving Sydney's south west, to a convenient base near the new airport, Oran Park is officially on the map.
