Lucy Pearson

Urban List Fashion & Lifestyle Writer

Lucy is a lifelong book lover, a bibliotherapist, a library curator and the host of boujie reading retreats in beautiful places. Splitting her time between Bondi and London, she’s never happier than when her head is in a book, or she’s slipping into the ocean for a sunrise swim — ideally followed by a cold prosecco or a spicy margarita (because it's always 5 o'clock somewhere!)

After graduating with a degree in English Literature, Lucy read her way through the BBC’s Top 100 Books and launched The Literary Edit, the blog that earned her the London Book Fair’s inaugural Book Blogger of the Year Award. Now a trained bibliotherapist, she helps readers discover the transformative power of books while making her own way through The New York Times’ 100 Best Books of the 21st Century.

Her work has taken her from interviewing authors to curating libraries, and she’s appeared on national TV and radio to talk about the role reading plays in wellbeing. She’s also served as a spokesperson for Kobo and has been interviewed by Mariella Frostrup on the BBC—all part of her mission to bring more people back to the joy of reading.
