With Victoria and South Australia’s powers combined comes the Great Southern Lands courtyard orgy of the country’s finest cheeses and wines.
Rollicking for a full three hours in the Courtyard of Treasury Hotel, punters will get to take their palates on a thorough jaunt across premium wine country from the Barossa Valley to the Mornington Peninsula, stopping off at vineyards along the way in Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, the Yarra Valley, and Coonawarra to sample their tannic nectar.
But you can’t have wine without cheese (well, I mean, you can but what’d be the point) which is why event organisers have invited the cream of Victoria’s cheesemakers (hurr) to flaunt their wares in a smorgasbord of lactic delights, dips, breads and miscellaneous antipasto party starters.
As an ambient bonus, while you’re getting suitably fed and watered, limber up to the live entertainment and ring in the weekend right.
