We love it that the gang at Moda have managed to make a four course degustation by the one and only Javier Codina even better by being total sports and letting you BYO wine from your own cellar. #9 La Sylphide | Queensland Ballet
Overdosed on MKR? Know a little too much about Kimye’s movements? You need a culture injection, stat, and we have just the thing. One of the world’s most adored romantic ballets, La Sylphide, is coming to town. This ballet follows the tragic plight of James the Scotsman as he’s bewitched on his wedding day by a beautiful sylph—kind of like My Best Friend’s Wedding, but with tutus.

#8 CocoWhip | Pawpaw Café
What if we told you there was a new, 99% fat free, vegan, organic ice cream available in Brisbane, and you’ve been eating Sara Lee this whole time like a full-fat rookie? #Regret. #6 Adam D’Sylva Celebrity Chef Degustation | Longtime
One of Melbourne’s finest culinary masterminds is making the pilgrimage to little old Brisvegas for one night of gastronomical greatness. If you’re not familiar with Adam D’Sylva’s work you’ve been living with your head in a KFC bucket: his Melbourne restaurant Coda is a temple of Euro Asian-fusion delights, while little sis’ venue Tonka is dishing up Indian fare folks go crazy for. And now he’s all ours for one 10-course meal to end all meals. D’Sylva’s insane 21st century kitchen skillz combined with Longtime’s tongue-in-cheek deliciousness is a recipe for success.

You already know his work as a kooky and cool film-maker, but you’ve never experienced David Lynch like this before. Can you put your hand on your heart and say you have enough sashimi in your life? We thought not. That’s why you need to get down to this weekly Brisbane fish and fizz fiasco that is Champagne and Sashimi Sundays at Sake. A Brisbane Sunday sesh’ for the stylin’ set, pop on down and enjoy the last of summer on Sake’s deck with the pretty people.
