Gearing up for its biggest year yet, the annual Brisbane Street Art Festival is returning to Brisbane for its third year—and holy hell, is this year a biggun’.
A hand-picked line up of the world’s most acclaimed street artists, alongside Australia’s cream of the crop are set to descend upon our fair city for March 31. And, yeah, they’ve got BIG plans.
Even without the incredible line up of events, workshops, laneway pop-ups and markets that makes BSAF one of the most highly anticipated festivals in the Brisbane social calendar, for 2018 Brisbane is set to acquire 50 brand new artworks to be executed during the festival.
Venues and locations for the large-scale new works include Fish Lane, Ric’s Bar, Brisbane Powerhouse, plus secret spots in Paddington, Spring hill Annerley and the CBD, to name a few.
Events will be taking place all across the city for two weeks straight, meaning there’s plenty to see and do during BSAF 2018. One of the highlights of this year’s festival will be ‘Within These Walls’, a huge month-long exhibition from April 12 at the Brisbane Powerhouse featuring works form 50 local and international artists.
Gear up Brissy, this BSAF is going to be huge—and you’re not gonna want to miss one second! Get all the details plus the full program of supporting events, here.
