A Multi-Sensory, Dopamine-Inducing Interactive Experience Is Coming To Brisbane Soon

By Ranyhyn Laine

Prepare to get a little silly, because a dopamine-boosting experience where you can jump in ball pits and have pillow fights is coming to Brisbane. After successful runs in London and Washington DC, Dopamine Land is coming to Australia, and its first stop will be right here in Brisbane.

Popping up inside Uptown in the CBD, this multisensory, immersive wonderland is specifically designed to give you a boost of feel-good chemicals. Featuring 10 different spaces filled with creative experiences, you can let your imagination run wild as you find a moment of tranquillity in a digital forest, explore a light-filled infinity room, navigate a path across musical tiles and tell stories with shadows.

Not just a feast for the eyes, Dopamine Land’s combo of sensations will include sound, touch and even smell (yes, really), with endless opportunities for getting hands on and interacting with the installations. Basically, your inner child will want to run absolutely wild—and being a family-friendly experience, so will the actual kids.

Opening on 28 May, there’s day and night sessions available Wednesday to Sunday, with tickets ranging from $18-$32, depending on the session, age and group size. Find out more and grab your tickets here
