About Footloose The Musical

Based on the iconic film, Footloose The Musical follows Ren McCormack, a city kid who lands in a small town where dancing has been outlawed. What starts as culture shock quickly turns into something bigger, as Ren challenges the rules, shakes up the status quo and brings a community back together through music and movement.
Expect sharp choreography, powerhouse vocals and a stacked Australian cast led by Gabriel Tiller as Ren. He’s joined by Brittany Morton as Ariel, alongside stage heavyweights Steven Hirst (Reverend Shaw Moore), Sophie Weiss and Rachael Beck (Vi Moore).
Together, they bring the show’s iconic soundtrack to life, from “Holding Out for a Hero” to “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” and, of course, “Footloose”. Whether you grew up on the film or you’re coming in fresh, this is pure, feel-good theatre at its best.
