What's On

The Good Food & Wine Show Is Returning To Brisbane Later This Year

By – who always has time to go to breakfast, no matter how busy she is.

Clear your calendar because the highly-anticipated Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS) is back for its 23rd year and honestly, our tastebuds couldn't be more hyped. Slinging a bunch of new events, masterclasses and immersive experiences sure to ignite your senses, this year is set to be the best GFWS yet.

As always, the show will have a strong focus on celebrating the local producers, winemakers and the hospitality sector of each city. Expect  everything from The Village Pickle’s all-natural, sugar-free hot sauce made on the Sunshine Coast to Noosa Black Garlic and Burly Gin, a local distiller providing a taste of summer.

Those partial to a little cheese and vino will be well catered for, of course. Enjoy an intimate Wine Selectors Tasting Room experience, stroll your way down Cheese Lane, or take a trip via the Smelly Cheese Project. And with hundreds of wines from a variety of Australian regions to sample along the way (yes, you read that right), there’s sure to be a sip to satisfy everyone.

Speaking of wine, if you're partial to a tipple, look no further than The RIEDEL Drink Lab, where resident GFWS wine expert will host tasting sessions. While you're at it, scope out the Singapore Airlines VIP lounge where you can sample an 'in-flight' inspired meal paired with wines or beers,  and catch some live demos from some of Australia's favourite chefs in the Harvey Norman Kitchen.

Best of all, this year's show has an absolutely stacked line up of celebrity masterclasses and demonstrations. Top of the list for us is Donna Hay, who'll be hitting the Harvey Norman Kitchen stage for cooking demonstrations, but you can also book in to a chocolate masterclass with Queen of Chocolate Kristen Tibballs, learn how to make a pork lollipop with CheatMeats and catch Good Food & Wine Show regulars Miguel Maestre and Alastair McCleod.

Can’t contain your excitement? We feel you. Rally your tastebuds (or your taste buddies) and pick up your tickets to the Good Food & Wine Show here.
