There’s no doubt about it—Brisbane’s food and drink scene is slamming right now. Incredible restaurants, urban wineries, craft breweries and gin distilleries now pepper every corner of the city, making it easy to plan a delicious weekend activity no matter what you’re into. The one downside? All these epic venues are spread all over town, making a multi-stop trip hard to navigate, unless you want to fork out a fortune on Ubers.
Well we’ve found the answer—Kiff & Culture. This brand new travel company is changing the game when it comes to tour experiences, giving them a funky makeover and turning them into day tours you’ll actually want to get into a mini bus for. The tours are relaxed and flexible, the guides are young locals who feel like friends, banger tunes reign supreme and the small-group tours focus on homegrown brands with a passion for sustainability and supporting small businesses. Tick, tick and tick. And of course, they’ll take care of the itinerary and the transport, meaning all you have to do is be ready at your designated collection point.
There’s multiple tours on offer departing from Brisbane, including Tamborine Mountain Wine & Dine, which takes you wine tasting around Tamborine Mountain, and Eat & Drink The Gold Coast, which features lunch at Rick Shores, a Balter Brewery Tasting and a gin tasting at Granddad Jack’s. You don’t have to travel far though—there’s also a Brisbane Artisan Food & Drink tour that hits some of Brisbane’s coolest foodie spots.
Over the course of this epic day, you’ll get picked up and taken over to Southside in South Brisbane, where you'll start with a five-course banquet lunch to get you fuelled up for the day ahead. Next, it’s on to City Winery in the city for a tasting of some of their best vinos, with an expert to guide you through. And finally, you’ve got a choice—will it be a tasting paddle at the Valley’s Stone & Wood brewery, or a few G&Ts at Albion’s Granddad Jack’s, featuring a few of their boutique gins?
Kiff & Culture have also just released a slew of other tours too, including three-day long Brisbane to Byron Bay food trail that includes accomodation and stops off at farm-to-table restaurants, boutique farms, vineyards, breweries and distilleries. You can check out all their tour options and book yourself in right here.
