Fatboy Slim And Leon Bridges Are Coming To Brisbane For Riverfront Concert Series On The Banks 2027

Forget stuffy concert halls; here in Brisbane/Meanjin we’re lucky to enjoy sun-soaked days perfect for grooving under the sky which is why we’re obsessed with the On The Banks outdoor live concert series—bringing a stellar lineup of international and Australian acts to South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt.
On The Banks will once again transform the green space into a vibrant live music venue from February to March 2027, complete with bars and catering on the Brisbane River. With the city skyline as your backdrop and a melting pot of alternative, pop, garage, R&B, and hip-hop sounds on the stage, it’s definitely a welcome addition to Brisbane’s thumping live music scene.
First announced on the lineup is Grammy and BRIT Award-winning DJ Fatboy Slim, who will be taking over the cultural forecourt on 10 March.

The groovy Leon Bridges will also be joining the lineup, bringing his The Happiness Anytime Tour to Brisbane for On The Banks on 28 February. He'll be joined by New Hersey-based indie rock artist 54 Ultra.
Plus, the hits keep on coming with Aussie electronic music group The Avalanches also bringing their genre-defying tunes to On The Banks on 6 March, off the back of their highly anticipated fourth album No Bad Memories.
No other artists have been announced yet, but the inaugural year included one of the most influential performers on the planet Grace Jones, global art-pop princess MARINA, the playful De La Soul, and New Zealand singer-songwriter Marlon Williams. Closer to home, there was also Yolŋu surf rock legends King Stingray, Bernard Fanning and Brisbane's very own Mallrat.
