If you’ve ever attempted to nap on your tray table or spent hours desperately trying to find somewhere, anywhere, to put your legs, we have some very exciting news for Brisbane travellers.

Singapore Airlines will now run four daily services from Brisbane, plus the introduction of Premium Economy on the SQ266 route from November 2026.

That’s right, from November, Brisbane travellers can expect a premium experience from check-in through to boarding and baggage handling, with priority treatment throughout their journey.

Next-Level Comfort

The biggest battle on a long-haul flight? Trying to get some decent shut-eye without waking up with a cricked neck or aching back. Thankfully, Singapore Airlines’ Premium Economy setup has nailed the comfort factor, with calf and footrests built right into your seat. Recline your chair, stretch out and settle in for a much more comfortable in-flight nap situation.

There’s also plenty of dedicated storage for your personal belongings, along with two USB-A ports, a power supply for your electronics and a fully adjustable personal reading light. Just make sure you pack a travel adaptor if you’re planning to plug in. So, whether you’re catching some shut-eye, getting stuck into a good book or settling in for a movie marathon, you can kick back and be seriously comfy.

Plane Food You’ll Actually Want To Eat

The Premium experience extends all the way to the menu, with a seriously impressive line-up of in-flight meals. The best bit? You can scope out the menu six weeks before take-off and start plotting your culinary journey well before you hit the airport.

Expect a main course served with a seasonal appetiser, bread, dessert, plus cheese and crackers. On the drinks front, there’s Champagne, wine and a hefty selection of other sips to choose from, with snacks and beverages available between meals for mid-flight munchies.

And for those of us who like to pre-plan their meals ahead of time, Singapore Airlines’ Book the Cook service is your new in-air bestie. The expanded menu lets you pre-select your main course up to 24 hours before you leave, so you can set, forget and know exactly what you’ll be digging into at 30,000 feet.

Your In-Flight Entertainment, Sorted

Now that comfort is sorted, it’s time to settle in and explore the in-flight entertainment. KrisWorld boasts over 1,800 options spanning movies, TV shows, music, games and apps, so there’s plenty to keep every kind of traveller entertained. A 13.3-inch HD-enabled touchscreen and noise-cancelling headphones make navigating the impressive catalogue a breeze. You can also stay connected in the air with internet connectivity, plus text and multimedia messaging on selected flights.

Self-Care In The Air

Now, to the cherry on top of the entire Premium Economy experience: the in-flight self-care. Make the most of the exclusive Singapore Airlines amenities, including roomy slippers, lightproof eyeshades and hydrating lip balm.

Available upon request for passengers flying for more than seven hours, these luxe products are made with care by Out of the Woods® from eco-friendly materials and come in a stylish pouch made of FSC-certified kraft paper.
