We all know Brisbane loves a fairy light, which is why we’re glowing with the news that The Enchanted Garden is back for its tenth year—bigger and brighter than ever.

Transforming the lush Roma Street Parkland into a dazzling wonderland straight out of a fairytale, the annual lightshow spectacle features tens of thousands of twinkling LED lights, shimmering projections and sparkling visuals set across a one kilometre-long self-guided trail. Plus, it’s not just the lights that will captivate you—this year, a playful and immersive tale called An Enchanted Eve invites you to join the mischievous guardians of the garden through interactive elements and imaginative storytelling. Yep, the kids are going to love it.

From bobbing orbs to spellbinding lightscapes, each corner offers a new reason to drop your jaw before wrapping up on Celebration Lawn with onsite food trucks and a pop-up licensed bar serving treats and tipples. The Lawn will also be open for free to the public from 5pm daily because ‘tis the season after all.

Despite the state-of-the-art technology and breathtaking scope of the show, The Enchanted Gardens remains delightfully affordable, with tickets priced at $7.50 for kids aged 3 to 12 years and $9.50 for 13+. Discounted group tickets are also available for $32 (two adults and two children) or $38 (two adults and three children).

The Enchanted Garden will be lighting up the festive season for a 30-night run from 21 November to 20 December, including up-late sessions. The experience will open daily at 6:30pm with sessions every 15 minutes until the last one at 9:15pm. The wheelchair-accessible trail will take you around 45 minutes to complete, but you’re more than welcome to discover the hidden delights at your own pace. There are also low sensory sessions with reduced lighting and crowds for those who prefer. Parking is limited, so we recommend taking advantage of the Roma Street train and busway stations closeby.

“The Enchanted Garden is one of Brisbane’s favourite Christmas traditions and a highlight of our Christmas in Brisbane program,” Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said. “This year’s reimagined experience will be even more immersive, giving families, couples and friends a chance to celebrate the festive spirit in a truly mesmerising setting. It’s an affordable night out for families and friends to experience something truly special.”
