If you’ve got an encyclopedic knowledge of everything from pop culture to world history (or you just want a good excuse for a midweek hang with your mates), clear your calendar on Wednesday 16 July—because we’ve teamed up with the legends at Keno to throw the ultimate trivia night, and you’re invited.
We’ve been cruising the east coast, bringing cool kids together for some nostalgic fun—and Brisbane, it’s your turn.
Round up your brainiest pals and make tracks to The Gibson in Stafford for an evening of epic vibes, great eats and plenty of good old-fashioned competition.
Hosted by the always hilarious Tommy Casha (so you can skip the crunches at the gym today), the festivities will kick off at 6pm, and trust us, you’ll want to arrive hungry. Upon entry, you’ll score a goodie bag brimming with freebies, plus food tokens.
If you’ve been to The Gibson before, you know the culinary offerings are seriously good. Think: a classic chicken schnitty, their iconic truffle burger or the moreish Japanese cauliflower steak. Oof, we’re drooling just thinking about it.
Trivia will kick off at 7pm sharp, with Tommy Casha delivering a series of challenging questions across two rounds—with mini breaks to top up your table snacks, of course. Pro tip: divvy up some classic trivia categories (sports, geography, movies) between your mates to study the night before if you’re serious about taking the crown.
Throughout the night, the legends at Keno will be handing out some sweet merch (because they’re nice like that), before the winning team will be awarded with a juicy cheque and those all-important bragging rights.
With the trivia proceedings all wrapped by 9pm, you can then kick on at the Gibbo and celebrate (or commiserate) with your new trivia besties. Perfect midweek activity = sorted.
