If you’ve heard of Une Piece, then you’ll know that this Brisbane-based swimwear brand were the creators of the Sexy Rashie—long-sleeved, one-piece swimwear that somehow manages to hug in all the right places and look seriously chic while also being totally sunsafe. Well since then, the brand has gone on to become a cult favourite, with a signature range of 'Little Black Swimsuits' and regular seasonal collections—and they've just dropped some new additions that will make you want to hit the beach.
The 'Little Black Swimsuit' collection is bascially the swimwear equivalent to the little black dress—a wardrobe staple that looks good on anyone, for any occasion, whether you're lounging by the pool at home, hitting the beach or heading for your favourite luxe bathhouse. Joining the line up of 22 pieces this year is seven new styles, including signature pieces elevated with demure frills, a Classic Cross Back Active One Piece, and best of all, their first Classic Strapless One Piece, which comes with removable spaghetti straps for 'four swimsuits in one.'
All the little black numbers feature in a just-shot campaign inspired by the iconic photography of Slim Aarons, with 26 Queensland women donning the suits and draping themselves around a stunning pool in th Gold Coast hinterland. The pics honestly have us adding half a dozen styles to cart—and it seems we're not alone, as that strapless number already has a waitlist.
On the latest campaign Carly Brown said, “Little Black Swimsuit is our favourite campaign to shoot each year, and this year’s campaign was the most special yet. Our community is our biggest inspiration at UNE PIECE®; to have 26 women from this community join us on set was a joy and very inspiring."
