27 South Brewing

Pour one up for Coorparoo’s newest brewery taproom from a local favourite, tucked behind a roller door. 27 South Brewing has made a name for itself for their small-batch experimental releases, festival pop-ups and core range, and now you can get the goods in their first permanent location that’s made just for hanging out. 

The passion project of two long-time mates Angus Brown and Nick Curry, the 50-person taproom is modern, minimalist and welcoming with light wood fixtures, pops of dark green, and a decorative merch wall complementing the usual suspects you’d expect to see in a brewery. On tap you’ll find a rotating selection of fresh brews, alongside their established and award-winning classics. 

“Opening our own taproom has been a long-time dream and we’re excited to finally create a space where people can experience 27 South beers exactly as we intended—fresh from the tank, shared with mates, and in a relaxed neighbourhood setting,” said Brown.

Officially opening this weekend, 27 South Brewing is currently all about the beer but will look to expand their offering with wine and spirits in the future.
