Bang Bang Bar

Paddington has no shortage of great Brisbane bars to hang our proverbial hats, but who ever said there was such a thing as too many cool bars? Pfft, certainly not us.

New Brisbane bar Bang Bang is the latest on the scene along Given Terrace, providing us Brissy locals with a swish late night cocktail bar to call our new home. Taking over the space that was previously Pizzeris Violetta, Bang Bang Bar's fit out is opulent, mysterious and looks like nothing the likes of Paddo has ever seen, yet, the venue itself is still very much a part of the Sichuan Bang Bang x Violetta gang, only its like their trendier, naughtier younger sister—did we mention there were cocktails??

The playful cocktail menu features elegant mixes from the well-stocked back bar, twists on classics and a few curveballs designed to go off with a, err, bang... (sorry).

Paying some serious homage to the former restaurant resident, Bang Bang Bar also serves up some delicious food; from China to Italy, and, upon first glance one might find this pairing a little strange, but with 10 classic pizzas on the menu plus some delectable Sichuan bites, you're spoilt for choice by two of the greatest cuisines in the world. Sort of, umm, genius?
