The Verdict

The team behind Brisbane’s breakfast institution, Billykart, have brought us a brand new venue, one dedicated to the humble burger. After seeing Billykart's burger menu develop a cult following, owner Ben Roberts and chef Ben O’Donoghue decided to take things to the next level, taking over a location just up the road from their West End spot and turning it into Bender's Bar.

Set to be West End's new local, the chilled neighbourhood pub-style bar will feature a wallet-friendly menu of burgers and other snacks as well as plenty of drinks. Fan favourites making an appearance on the menu include the infamous Billykart cheese burger and scrumptious snacks like the beer battered pickles and beer battered jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese. And of course, like any proper bar you can expect live music, trivia nights and weekly specials.
