Beyond the Pale is Coorparoo’s new local café, pub and hangout, serving up healthy or hearty meals seven days a week, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If you’re a local, you already know about Beyond the Pale’s Dramanti artisan coffee and craft beers, if not, fear not, you can’t miss the flagship bar at the centre of Coorparoo Square. With a casual and contemporary vibe, the design features polished concrete, exposed light bulbs, bar or booth seating is perfect for the casual get-together whatever time of the day.
Breakfast is laidback and easy with a menu that offers crowd-pleasing variety. Have a light breakfast like the goats milk panacotta served with fresh fruit or go straight to the old favourites like the eggs bennie or BTP brekky (because we know you’re only heading out to find the haloumi).
You can choose to share a few dishes, (we’re pretty obsessed the mac’n’cheese nuggets but the poké is also on point!) or get stuck into an eye fillet with chunky fries, all by yourself.
Beyond The Pale inherits the free-spirited and warm Irish hospitality from the owners, Aidan McGarrity and Mark McKenna. With 12 craft beers on tap and a phenomenal wine and cocktail menu, Beyond The Pale’ really broke the Coorparoo bar scene mould. Keep it simple with thick chunky fries with honey and paprika mayo (yum!). Or enjoy their delicious cocktail menu featuring goodies like Ink Gin or if you’re desperately thirsty grab a pitcher of Sangria or Pimms. Nibble on their exceptional snack menu (these legends will serve you popcorn chicken with bacon mayo until late)!
