Brisbane’s nightlife has seen so many memorable moments (and yes, maybe a couple we want to forget), but no dancefloor has been more iconic than Birdees. The rowdy rendezvous left a lively hole in the heart of our River City when it closed its doors back in 2020, but the untamed energy is brimming once again—Birdees is back, baby.
Following a multi-million dollar makeover, Birdees is stepping into its sophisticated era beneath the newly opened Beaumont. It’s more than just a club—Birdees is an ode to music culture past, present and future across Friday nights called MONTY and Saturdays at Birdees.
"Birdees is our love letter to music and the people who live for it," said Group General Manager, Danny Webster-Clamp. "It’s where old-school soul and new-age sound collide, creating something Brisbane has never seen before."
Inside, you can expect industrial luxe spotlighted in immersive lighting, layered textures, and a sound system elevating the curated DJ lineups, live performances, underground house parties, and unexpected throwback sets. The multi-level layout offers a heavy focus on audio-visual artistry—setting the stage for all your late-night moments.
Birdees will reopen on 27 June.
