The Verdict

Brisbane’s in for a treat with Black Hide by Gambaro at Treasury Brisbane. This luxury dining experience offers an extensive array of world-class Australian steak cuts and extravagant seafood dishes, making it the perfect place for a date or get together with your mates.

Infusing traditional elements of the Black Hide experience, excellent food and service, Gambaro takes it up a notch by settling within the chic, stylish and historic heritage-listed, Treasury Brisbane. Stand out dishes include the Wagyu or Angus cuts: think perfectly grilled textures delivering drool-worthy delightfulness, especially when served with fat-roasted potatoes and rosemary.

But the deliciousness doesn’t stop there, Black Hide’s head chef, Tom Mumford, has meticulously crafted a wine list that when combined with your steak of choice offers up a heavenly experience. On the dessert end of the spectrum, there’s a Strawberry Brulee with strawberry shortbread and Lemon Mousse with elderflower and pistachio that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

If there’s one thing you need to know about Black Hide it’s that quality and excellence is always their number one priority. The team have raked in the awards, including Australia’s best Steak at the 2016 Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards for excellence, and as soon as you step inside, it’s not hard to see why.
