Those of you lamenting Brisbane's lack of laneways can get down off your high horse and head to the centre of the city for coffee at Brew Cafe and Wine Bar in Burnett Lane. Don't be fooled by the fact that it looks like a carpark entrance - follow your nose to the end of Lower Burnett Lane and you'll find a haven of hipsters and suits sipping harmoniously, bonded by their love of coffee and an inner city breakfast alternative to Hungry Jacks.
