Gaythorne just scored a buttery new cafe from a duo that includes the owner of Hawthorne’s popular Sister Cafe, one dishing up just the essentials for your morning commute or weekend pitstop. With a dog-friendly outdoor courtyard in front of the hole-in-the-wall spot, you can dine in or just grab a coffee and go, depending on how much of a rush you’re in.

The menu of eats is small but mighty, featuring a handful of items that are designed to be slathered in butter. You can pair your Single O coffee with a snack of banana bread or a Wholly Crumpet, settle in for a zesty avocado toast or hearty sausage muffin, or wrap your hands around one of the four toastie options. Not a coffee drinker? Don't worry, there's also cold-pressed juices, sodas, hot chocolates and chai lattes to sip on.
