Cheeky Waffles

Cheeky Waffles Brisbane is now permanently closed.

Chocolate-covered penis and sprinkle-topped vulva waffles are on the menu at this pint-sized dessert shop on Brunswick Street. Rude, anatomy-focused, or downright fun—whatever you want to say about it, Cheeky Waffle is sure as hell doing desserts differently.

This Valley shop slings sweet treats in the shape of your good bits. The phallic waffles come covered in melted chocolate and cookie crumble, and there's even one called the Sugar Daddy, which comes topped with caramel, Biscoff and gold powder. Or, you can get sweet vulva-shaped waffles, with flavours like milk chocolate and Tim Tams or dark chocolate and Oreo. For $2, you can also add a 'love injection' of Nutella, caramel, strawberry jam or custard, while $1 will get you a 'happy ending'—a drizzle of very suggestive white chocolate sauce.

As for the why, well it's not just for the fun of it—the crew behind Cheeky Waffles are also keen to break down taboos and promote sexual wellness. As well as slinging their lascivious treats, they've been involved with sexual wellness seminars at QUT, Sexpo and Pride Festival, all with the aim of promoting sexual health an empowerment in an inclusive, positive and above all, cheeky way.
