City Winery Eagle Street Pier

City Winery is now closed.

City workers looking for a new post-work wine spot, we have good news—Fortitude Valley's City Winery has opened up another CBD watering hole, this one by the river at Eagle Street Pier. Perfectly situated to catch those river breezes, the new wine bar features outdoor tables, bar stools by the back wall lined with bottles of Gerler Wine, the urban winery's own label, and a private dining room for tastings and events. 

As well as the full range of Gerler wines, all of which you should sample if you haven't already done so, the third City Winery will be offering up a cracking menu of everything from cheese and charcuterie to larger plates for those after a sophisticated dinner. On the snacks menu, attention grabbers include the carrot 'Dagwood Dog' with carrot ketchup and a beetroot Scotch egg with pickled jalepeno, while those bigger feeds feature the likes of miso beef short rip and hot smoked market fish, best paired with a side of crunchy potatoes and smoked pepper aioli. 

And for those in the know—yes the new space will host all those experiences City Winery is known for, from wine blending workshops to food and wine pairing experiences.
