David’s Noodle And Hotpot
If you're after a comfort-inducing feed in the city, but only have time to hit the food court, David's Noodle & Hotpot in The Myer Centre should be your first point of call. Here, you can dig into a Sichuan hotpot, or malatang, a spicy, both-based feed stacked with noodles, meats, tofu and vegetables.
The best part? While you can choose from the standard menu, you can also build your own hotpot, with a wall of ingredients to fill your bowl with. Select from the likes of thinly sliced beef, leafy Asian greens, various kinds of tofu, fish balls and cheesy sausage before choosing your soup base, noodles and sauce, then paying for your bowl by weight. 10-15 minutes later, out will come your steaming bowl of goodness, ready to be slurped up and devoured in the food court seating area.
