The Verdict
Veggie lovers and vegans, this one is for you. Actually, the menu at Dicki’s would probably make even the most devoted carnivore drool.
If you haven’t heard of it already, Dicki’s is a plant based café in New Farm serving up delectable vegan delights. With an epic breakfast and lunch menu as well as squeezed juices and fresh coffee, Dicki’s has already become a local favourite for both vegans and meat eaters.
Dicki’s all day breakfast menu features some brekkie classics with a plant based twist. Think buckwheat waffles with caramelised banana, tofu scramble, and breakfast burritos with crumbed tofu and black beans. Don’t worry, the classic avo smash is still there, and it comes with macadamia feta. Dicki’s also has some fab lunch options, including eggplant burgers, tofu bao, and sweet potato fries.
As well as delicious coffee and tea, Dicki’s serves up a range of epic smoothies including a peanut butter and banana smoothie with coconut milk and vegan ice cream (yes please). It doesn’t matter if you’re a vegan or not, Dicki’s has something for everyone and is the perfect place for a delicious and ethical brunch.
