If you love sun-soaked afternoons and craft beer as much as we do, Felons Brewing Co. is going to be your new favourite watering hole.

Sitting on the banks of the Brisbane River within the new Howard Smith Wharves precinct, you’ll be slinging back good brews and taking in one of the best views going around. It’s a 1000-square-metre 500-seat monster nestled beneath the iconic Story Bridge, and with its name proudly painted across the roof in huge letters, you literally can’t miss Brisbane’s newest opening.

There’s five beers on offer brewed with Brisbane’s warm climate in mind that can only be described as refreshing. Choose from an Australian Pale Ale, Middy, Crisp Lager, IPA, or Sonny Apple Cider.

Great beer aside, Felon’s Brewing has got a top-notch menu to match. It’s extensive, listing off tasty pub grub like woodfired pizzas, burgers, and poké bowls but the ‘substantial’ category will really capture your attention. King prawns, grilled Moreton Bay bugs and freshly shucked oysters are up for grabs, and paired perfectly with a Felon’s Middy. Obviously.

Felons Brewing Co. ticks all the boxes when it comes to food and drink, but they’ve also brought something totally new to Brisbane. The deck, beer garden and adjoining parklands are all fully licensed so you can grab a pint, wander along the boardwalk, and even throw down a picnic blanket on the grassy knoll. There's also the Felons beer trucks parked around the precinct so you never have to venture far for a top up. This place is a game-changer.
