Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers
Australia’s first gnoccheria, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers first won us over with their fluffy gnocchi at market stalls, and then a dedicated Paddington location. Now, you've got twice as many opportunities to eat your fill of potato pasta, with their second venue open on Little Stanley Street in South Bank.
As well as dishing up all the bowls you know and love, including their traditional beef bolognese, pork and fennel Italian sausage and wild mushroom and truffle, the new venue has plenty of sides to snack on over a wine, with truffle salted potato chips, prosciutto platters and salt and pepper calamari on the menu along with a short but sweet list of wines. And it wouldn't be a proper Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers feed without a sweet ending of ricotta cannoli, though the rich tiramisu might also take your fancy.
