Cheese lovers, your dream venue has landed in New Farm with the arrival of Grape & Grazing. This new neighbourhood spot wears many hats—wine bar, bottle shop, bakery and deli, gift store, providore—but it’s their cheese bar we’re most enamoured with, and are sure you will be too.

Whenever you get a hankering for the good stuff, you can drop in here to get yourself a cheese box in various sizes, which they’ll make up right in front of you from a selection of cheeses and accompaniments from the cheese bar. You can get it artfully arranged to have there with a vino, or take it to go for a picnic at the park, on your patio, in the car—wherever you like to eat your cheese.

If it’s a proper picnic you’re after, you can also pick up a full array of picnic essentials—we’re talking picnic baskets, blankets, sweet treats, keep cups and more. You can even grab a bottle of wine  from their curated collection (which features plenty of champagnes) and an outdoor ice bucket to take down to New Farm Park—the inspiration behind Grape & Grazing was to really level up picnicking and in that they’ve certainly succeeded.

As for those other hats we mentioned, Grape & Grazing is open from early morning for all your coffee and baked goods needs, with lower caffeine beans from Sydney’s Little Marionette so you can stay and order another. Once their new chef settles in, you’ll also be able to stop in for take home meals, or casual evening feeds of specialties like rotisserie chicken with sides or whatever is on the menu for the day. We hear there might even be the occasional oyster bar night on the cards—basically, they’ve got you covered on all fronts.
