Carindale Westfield has been blessed with a new Thai spot, and we have a feeling it’ll soon become your go-to. HAAD Thai fuses Asian flavours with a coastal atmosphere to give you a moment (or a long lunch) away from the usual shopping centre rush. This relaxed dining spot is tucked away in the glasshouse precinct, offering an airy, light-filled environment for you to unwind and refuel.

HAAD’s menu blends authentic flavours with modern flair, an impressive feat. You’ll find classic Thai favourites like pad Thai, panang curry and  massaman beef cheek on the menu, but if you’re feeling like leaving your cosy comfort zone, then you’ll find plenty of more adventurous options. Branch out with dishes like the flying fish—a whole fried barramundi in garlic sauce—or the sweet chilli soft shell crab, perfect for sharing with your crew. 

If you're just after something small, don't fret. There’s a sizable selection of smaller plates, as well as sides and salads, so you can snack and run, with options like steamed har gao prawn dumplings, crab rolls, chicken satay and roti with a house-made peanut sauce. Hot tip from us: a trip to HAAD is not complete without their coconut banana sticky rice for dessert.
