Industry Beans
The Verdict
This one is for the die-hard coffee fanatics. After great success in Melbourne and Sydney, Industry Beans have brought their house roasted coffee, Instagrammable brunches and minimalist decor to Brisbane, and the 150 seat cafe is their most ambitious venue yet. Bright, airy and filled with greenery, the cafe-restaurant is the perfect spot for a boozy brunch, Friday wine or weekday lunch, and is bound to become a Newstead favourite—especially with both stunning breakfasts and smooth espresso martinis on the menu.
Industry Beans’ original café in Fitzroy, Melbourne was the first in Australia to feature La Marzocco Modbar and Brisbane’s newest coffee hotspot will be no different. This coffee machine is hidden under the bench, allowing customers full access to the whole coffee-making process without being blocked by the machine. As well as being able to get a coffee every which way, visitors will also soon be able to experience the ins and outs of brewing, with cupping and degustation-style coffee tasting experiences to come.
