Opening its doors just in time for Spring, Samford Valley’s Jardin is a beautiful botanical concept store and event space home to a range of plants, pots and homewares. Owned and operated by husband and wife Michale and Louise Cruice—this family owned business is sure to offer a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The original barn-style building (onced used for Samford’s Fire Brigade) has been transformed into a stunning green oasis by Landings Studio. Not only can you shop for plants and homewares, but Jardin doubles as an events venue, available to hire for ‘blank canvas’ events, including micro weddings, birthdays, workshops, photoshoots and corporate events.
As if it couldn’t get any better, an on-site ‘pop out’ coffee shop is set to open here mid-September, so you can grab a latte before you browse the array of greenery inside.

Sorelle Eatery
Why split your Sunday mornings between brunching and homewares browsing when you can combine the two together? Part cafe, part homewares store, St Lucia’s Sorelle Eatery lets you do just that. A new spot from iconic Brisbane hospitality family the Togninis, who you may recognise from Milton’s Togninis Deli Cafe (and previously Il Locale Italian), Sorelle means ‘sisters’ in Italian, named for both its place as sister venue to Tognini’s and for Mark and Narelle Tognini’s daughters, Madeleine and Nastassia, who have recently joined the family business.
