Just-Earth west end

The Verdict

If you’re looking for a cute-as eatery with a rustic vibe, then it's high time you paid Just Earth a visit.

Nestled in the bustling café scene that is West End, Just Earth is a refreshing and totally adorbs former purely health food café that has expanded its foodie wings to spread the healthy food love to the masses, while staying true to its commitment to sustainable farming and ethical trade.

Since opening, Just Earth has wowed its customers with the taste and quality of its coffee, but this little coffee roastery does food just as well. Everything on the brand-new menu looks so good it's hard to know what to pick, and we predict you'll be planning your next visit before you've even left! You can expect local and healthy ingredients, bright colours, Insta-worthy presentation and of course, oodles of flavour. And, with the option to make every meal vegetarian or even vegan, there is finally a place that caters to literally everyone’s preferences without skimping on flavour or range. BLESS.

They’ve got all the classics like museli and acai bowls (both vegan, both amazing), a brekky burger, and smashed avo given Just Earth's unique spin (did someone say spiced pumpkin hummus?!). Drool further over the heartier options like mushroom bruschetta, hash cake eggs benny (say what now!), vegan moussaka, falafel bowls and brekky stacks.

If you’ve got a case of the ol’ sweet tooth but not keen on a massive processed sugar hit in the AM, the vegan salted caramel pancakes are a total must-try. Expect hella-fluffy banana pancakes with coconut yoghurt, caramelised banana, berries, vegan salted caramel sauce, and a sweet nutty dukkah. Indulgent but healthy (music to our ears), they're truly the stuff of dreams.

While you're there you'll find a gorgeous array of house-made delectable cakes and sweets, like carrot cake, chocolate brownies, and pistachio and cacao truffles (all vegan, but hey you'll love them even if you're not) to name a few. You can also bet your socks that this cute-as-heck joint is child-friendly, with a refreshingly wide kids menu offering AND even a kids café every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am -11am, jam-packed with fun activities for the smalls.

Chill out in their sweet-as courtyard with fairy lights and a jazzy mural to forget the daily grind, along with top-notch nosh and excellent, in-house roasted brews. All responsibly sourced, duh.
