Little Miss Sunshine

Cocktail bars the city has a plenty, but breweries not so much—however now open in a prime spot inside 80 Ann Street is a Queensland-inspired bistro with its very own brewery. Scoring a huge space on the ground floor of the impressive building, Little Miss Sunshine is all about sunny vibes, house beers and local cuisine. 

With a huge footprint spreading out across two levels, plus a laneway outside, you shouldn’t have any trouble grabbing a table or a bright yellow booth for a bite to eat and a pint or two from one of their 28 taps. Alongside house brewed sips you’ll find a few other Queensland craft beers and big name ales, perfect for pairing with the classic Aussie and Mediterranean-style dishes coming out of the kitchen. 

Just here for snacks? Stick to small plates like saucy harissa wings, haloumi skewers and spinach and feta gozleme, with some chunky chips of course. For those seeking a solid feed though, you’ll find pub classics like beer battered barramundi and chips, wagyu cheeseburgers and juicy steaks alongside more Mediterranean offerings like lamb kofta with flatbread and tabbouleh salad, harissa roasted sweet potato salad and chicken shawarma on pita bread.
