The iconic Lord Stanley Hotel has officially reopened, following a $15 million revival and 12-month renovation. As East Brisbane’s go-to since 1889, the landmark destination now doubles as the ultimate pub experience with everything you could want under one historic roof.
The new-look Lord Stanley Hotel features a lush beer garden, centred around a 5m-high pandanus tree adorned with elkhorn. The stunning space also houses a massive 200” LED TV wall—making it the perfect place to grab a bite, grab a beer, and catch a game on the big screen.
Speaking of bites, premium dining is on the menu at Lord Stanley Hotel, from small plates like their famous chicken wings to heartier mains. Get your hands on succulent wagyu burgers, gourmet pizzas, superior rump cuts, and their award-winning chicken schnitzel. There's even a dedicated vegan offering for plant-based diners, with the likes of crispy cauliflower bites and curries.
The Lord Stanley Hotel is also one of Brisbane’s most family-friendly pubs, complete with an air-conditioned kids’ playground surrounded by bean bags, gaming consoles, an 85” TV, and soft-fall grass to entertain the little ones. There's even plenty of fun for the grown ups, with interactive darts boards where you can play a classic round or games for up to six people.
Capitalising on its enviable location near the Gabba, the hotel’s stylish private event space on the first-floor is adjoined by a spacious deck overlooking the lights in the stadium. A key member of Hakfoort Group’s epic hotel line-up, the new Lord Stanley Hotel has certainly raised the bar.
“The Lord Stanley Hotel is a historic hotel with a historic name,” said Director Albert Hakfoort. “I believe that we have breathed new life into the Lord Stanley and hope that it will become part of the community fabric as a great place to eat, drink and relax for all the family, no matter what age.”
The Lord Stanley Hotel is now open. Book a table here.
