It’s a new era for a local-fave suburban pub, as Mansfield Tavern cements its 50-year legacy in live music and entertainment with an extensive renovation—unveilling a modernised bistro and dedicated entertainment space. 

Whether you’re posted up in the light-filled restaurant or vibrant open-air beer garden, you can expect honest, no-fuss pub fare across a menu of comfort food and flavour-forward options. With weekly specials available and a family-friendly courtyard featuring a playground for the kids, Mansfield Tavern is sure to be a staple for southsiders. 

Sports fans will also get around the new-look sports bar, which includes a 6m wide LED screen where you can enjoy all the action live and loud. But it's the transformation of Mansfield Tavern’s Rock Arena that’s caught our attention—turning the iconic space that dates back to the 70s into the perfect backdrop for live music legends. Now called The Arena, you can expect a dynamic offering the whole community will enjoy from local talent to international acts, comedians, and family entertainment.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming our community back to their new-look local,” said Venue Manager Claire Maskill. “We’ve completely spruced up the pub and modernised it—it feels like a whole new chapter.”
