Morning After in West End is the latest venture from the mother-and-son team behind South Bank's recently closed Italian restaurant, Dell'Ugo. This time Yianni Passaris and his mum Soula have set up shop in West End to bring the latest of bang-on breaky spots to the area. The menu spans the world, taking influence from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and features breakfast items such as papardelle "carbonara" with smoked pancetta and a slow-cooked 63 degree egg, sweetcorn pakors and buttermilk and ricotta hotcakes.
The slick fit-out has been done by local West Ender Alexander Lotersztain, the design brain behind Limes Hotel, Alfred & Constance and Chester Street Bakery, among others. Yianni and chef Domenico Romano (also ex-Dell'Ugo) are planning epic Yiro Sunday sessions, with slow-cooked lamb shoulder and chicken.
