The Verdict
Morning After in West End is a haven for some of Brisbane's most delicious, most 'grammable, and most inventive brekfast and lunch dishes and is a true icon of the Brissy cafe scene.
The menu spans the world, taking influence from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and features items such as their famous breakfast papardelle 'carbonara' with smoked pancetta and a slow-cooked 63 degree egg, sweetcorn pakors and red velvet buttermilk and ricotta hotcakes.
The slick fit-out has been done by local West Ender Alexander Lotersztain, so of course it's gorgeous. Owner Yianni and chef Domenico Romano (ex Dell'Ugo fame) are planning epic Yiro Sunday sessions, with slow-cooked lamb shoulder and chicken.
