The Verdict
Mr Edward’s Alehouse & Kitchen is a city-slickin’ craft brewery and eatery ready to take you from your 7am coffee to your 5pm Friday knock-off drinks. Armed with a desire to create a haven where craft beer, European eats and city life go hand-in-hand, owners Gerry Murphy and Daniel Whiffen have executed their plan to bring another fine meeting (and drinking) place to Brisbane’s CBD.
The menu at this charming new Brisbane bar fuses the best of European food with charcuterie, slow cooked meats and traditional alehouse offerings. Mr Edward’s has teamed up with craft beer king Coopers to showcase their largest range of beers in Queensland. Coffee and pastries are also on offer from 7am weekdays. Generous fellow that he is, Mr Edward's welcomes private functions on Sundays.
