The Verdict

With jaw-dropping city views that will almost distract you from the totally tantalising food fare on offer, the newly revamped No.15 Restaurant & Bar has got us hot under the collar with excitement. Welcoming renowned chef Luke Farrow to the mix, you can except big things from this revamped foodie haven situated in the base of Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Brisbane, on the fringe of the CBD.

No. 15 specialises in hearty, flavoursome but refined cuisine that utilises fresh-as local ingredients and produce in a big way. Start the night right with a grazing platter that ticks all the boxes (cured meats, haloumi skewers, squid, olives, breads, dips) followed with the Canadian scallops with cauliflower puree, bacon crumbs, and truffle oil, or perhaps the Asian-inspired braised beef short ribs with fried shallots and sticky caramel.

If you’re a true carnivore don't fret, because there's a whole menu dedicated to grill options with premium cuts (natch) with your choice of sides. But make sure you leave room for dessert, because their chocolate brownie with peanut butter ice cream, chocolate ganache cigar and Persian floss will change your life.

Of course, any meal wouldn’t be complete without the perfect beverage companion. No. 15 offers up all the classics like perfectly-mixed Aperol spritz and espresso martinis; or why not sip your way through their carefully curated wine list.

After something a little more casual? Head to the super-cute laneway running alongside the venue, sit back and relax with share platters galore and a bevvy of drinks, all against the backdrop of live music and twinkling lights that make this place a total charmer.

Welcoming you with open arms for breakfast and dinner daily, No. 15 really does have it all. From their adorbs laneway, mouth-watering menu and of course one of the best views in Brisbane, you’d be hard pressed to find a more on-point date venue around town.
