Taking over the reigns from Mister Paganini in South Bank is Nonna's Pizza & Deli, the lastest venue from the team behind Ole Restaurant, Mucho Mexicano and Downtown Istanbul. Combining an Italian restaurant, deli and bar into one massive, relaxed venue, Nonna's is the place to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and everything in between.

In the AM, you can stop by the deli and espresso bar to indulge in brunches like zucchini fritters with poached eggs and fried haloumi; baked eggs with crusty sourdough; or truffle pesto mushrooms on toast. Short on time? Just grab a pastry and a coffee to go instead.

Come the afternoon and evening, you can take a seat perched at the bar or in one of the cosy, semi-circular booths for fully-fledged Italian feasts, starting with ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers and fried gnocchi balls topped with prosciutto, and moving on to larger plates like woodfired pork belly and Nonna's famous osso bucco with saffron risotto. There's a lenghty list of wood-fired pizzas too of course, and you should absolutely save room for dessert—the classic tiramisu is calling your name.

We haven't even mentioned the bar yet, where you'll find fine wines, beers and cocktails—everything from the classic martini and margarita to a list of no less than seven kinds of spritzes and six kinds of negronis.
