Pablo Cafe New Farm

The Verdict

Praise the brunch gods because Pablo is back, bringing their cult status-worthy smashed peas with them. New Farm residents (or just Brisbane brunch fanatics) will be well and truly familiar with Pablo, who shut the doors on their Brunswick Street cafe back in 2017. Now, owners Amy and Michael Bates are back with Pablo 2.0, and this time, we're not letting them go.

The new space is gorgeously kitted out with dark green walls, industrial shelving and brown leather couches inside, while a mural and greenery adorned courtyard makes for a breezy spot to soak up some sun while you tuck into a big breakfast. On the menu, you'll find the OG smashed peas which had everyone coming back for more at their first cafe, alongside a epic plate of cinnamon brioche French toast topped with spiced poached pear, homemade ice cream and saffron fairy floss, though the health conscious might prefer to rise and shine with a homemade pepita and goji berry granola bowl with coconut yoghurt.

As well as the all day breakfast menu, Pablo dishes up burgers, melts and a curried chicken and noodle bowl for lunch, and Genovese coffee is brewed alongside smoothies, frappes, milkshakes and kombucha.
